Connection.
Cohesion.
Care.
Flower Clvb takes care to create arrangements with detail and cohesion. Considering the space each flower will occupy and where the flowers will go afterward is part of caring for the life of each flower, as well as the lives they brighten. Read more about Flower Clvb’s Stewardship HERE.
Education
Prior to beginning her flower business, Grace McDonald, owner of Flower Clvb, spent over ten years directing youth art programs in schools, libraries and community gardens in both Texas and NYC. With a masters degree in Arts Administration, Grace has studied and practiced education methods that inspire children to follow their senses into a more profound experience of the world. She currently teaches S.T.E.A.M. classes for kids in grades K-8 at a local charter school. Seeing the ways children are drawn to flowers and the joy they receive from making a bouquet is the reason Grace decided to do these classes for children.
Grace McDonald
Owner & Lead Florist, Grace McDonald started Flower Clvb after years of experience designing for individual clients and high-end boutiques in New York City. Challenging the ways art is made and consumed is part of the ethos by which Grace approaches floral design. Through her passion for nature, she is driven to create thoughtful and bespoke designs, prioritizing sustainability and quality sourcing. Her background working with contemporary artists inspires her sculptural style and curiosity for nonconventional ideas.
