My work with flowers is motivated not by capital, but rather by a love for the earth and for life.
Hailing from an arts administration background, where I created and ran arts education programs for over ten years, I see floral design as an opportunity for learning and gaining a more intimate appreciation for nature’s design. My vision to cultivate empathy and compassion within the youth I work with is similar to the vision I have for my clients. I aim for them to have a deeper sense of self and grow in a renewed love for nature through their experience with their flower arrangements. Floral design is more than just flowers in a vase, rather it is an art which invites the artist to invest in the land by which it emerged. My flower arrangements bring together nature, design, color, texture and materials that speak to the human senses and connect us back to the outdoors. With this in mind, a percentage of profit from each wedding goes toward an environmental conservancy organization.
